Yassir II competing in endurance
The Norwegian Arab Horse Association (NAHF) is pleased to announce that the 2015 WAHO Trophy has been awarded to the gelding Yassir II for being an outstanding representative of the Arabian breed.
Yassir has excelled in the sport of Endurance with great merits in Norway as well as abroad. Among his most recent achievements, Yassir and his rider and owner, Olaug, were awarded Nordic Baltic Champion in Sweden during 2015. They have completed three 160 km rides and had the best Norwegian time (of all times) of 18.9 km/hr for a 160 km ride during the 2015 European Championship in Slovakia.
In addition to his achievements in the sport, Yassir is also a great tempered horse with outstanding movements. He gives his rider the best feeling during Endurance rides – he simply loves to run, mile after mile.
