ANICA is pleased to announced that they have awarded Italy’s 2015 WAHO Trophy to the 4-year old stallion Tornado by Zucchele, in recognition of his excellent racing achievements to date.

During the 2015 racing season, he took part in 4 races with 3 wins and 1 second place. So far in 2016 he has run a further 4 times, adding another win and 3 places to his record.
It is also interesting to note that the sire of his dam is the stallion Bonorvesu, who won Italy’s WAHO Trophy in 2011, also in recognition of his excellent racing record and sire of good racehorses.

The WAHO Trophy award ceremony took place during the May 2016 race meeting at the Hippodrome Cappanelle in Rome, where Mrs. Valerie Bunting, WAHO Secretary, presented the Trophy to Mr. Antonio Efisio Pinna, the proud owner and breeder of Tornado by Zucchele.
