The Arab Horse Society of South Africa has awarded their 2013 WAHO Trophy to the veteran mare Sidi Lalage, whose stellar show record from 1998 to 2013, exhibited by her various owners down the decades includes countless wins and championships in all categories of ridden show classes. In particular, she has achieved many wins and championships with junior or child riders, especially in the later years of her career when she was mainly ridden by Michael Cronjè. She is truly an excellent ambassador for the breed in her country.
