Breeder: Marjan Zupančič, Owner: Karin Kranjc
Strain: Kehailan Jellabi (Jellabiet Feysul)
Slovenia is proud to announce the winner of their 2019 WAHO Trophy. The stallion Gazal Z has just started his endurance career and is already showing big potential. He has successfully finished a 40km qualifier in Barban (Croatia) and a 60km qualifier in San Canzian (Italy). He is a big, strong powerful horse who loves to run.
The dam of Gazal Z, Geisha P, is owned and bred by one of Slovenia’s foremost breeders, Gregor Pintar. She is currently on lease to Arabian Stud Europe in The Netherlands, and while taking a break from her breeding duties she also participated successfully in endurance during 2017. The sire of Gazal Z, L.A. Maximus, was bred in Switzerland imported to Slovenia as a yearling in 2009. He has been a successful show horse and breeding stallion, and has since been exported to Iran.
Combining charisma, beauty and strength, Gazal Z is a worthy winner of Slovenia’s 2019 WAHO Trophy. In the 2019 season Gazal Z will have the chance to participate in the World Endurance Championships for Young Horses, and continue making Slovenia proud of their home-bred Arabian horses.
