The 2019 WAHO Trophy winner selected for Iran is the splendid 24-year old mare, Beirout. Descended entirely from old Iranian bloodlines, she is a celebrated for her success both as a racehorse and as a show mare. She is an exceptionally fine example of her breed.
As a younger mare, she was a very good racehorse, winning several times. In more recent times, she has excelled in the show classes for straight Iranian bred horses. She has also produced some fine offspring, themselves now entering the breeding herd to preserve these very important old bloodlines.
