The AVS are delighted to award the 2023 WAHO Trophy to the stallion A Kanz of Kossack
Despite his young age (born in 2016), A Kanz of Kossack (Kanz Albidayer x Ariel *Elite
by Aja Shakakhan *Elite) has already proven himself in several areas. In addition to
his impressive show career with many national and international titles, he also proves
himself in dressage among warmblood horses and shows his qualities in breeding.
To date, all his shown offspring have come home with (several) medals every time. A
Kanz of Kossack’s qualities are not only noticed in the Netherlands (one of the most used
breeding stallions in the Netherlands over the past 3 years (2020, 2021 & 2022). He
now has offspring in three continents (South America, Europe and Asia), something
that only world champions can do these days.
With his size (1.63m), beautiful appearance and great movement, he knows how to
hold his own among the warmblood horses. Only started twice between the Arabs
and both times took home the Dutch title. He has achieved his points and victories
among the warmblood horses, where he is now ZZ-licht eligible to start.
The fact that the modern show horse, A Kanz of Kossack, can compete with
warmblood horses, in combination with his size, impressive gaits and stunning
appearance, makes him a true ambassador for the Arabian horse.
